You've seen this before but I just got Silver Efex and wanted to try it. what do you think? Please give me suggestions those who are more saavy re B and W and silver Efex. Hopefully I will get out later to take a photo but I'm trying to be spacious with myself given it is my second year plus I am doing the finishing touches on some photos going into a show tomorrow
@michaelelliott I'm sending thoughts your way that you and yours, and mine, and 365ers and all in NYC, NJ, and rest of the East are safe and the storm is just exciting not devastating
Get-Pushed -Challenge: Ok I've reviewed your album going back a good number of months and see (as I already knew) many beautiful natural landscape photos. Are you anywhere near a city? If so my challenge is for you to shoot a nighttime cityscape shot - or at least a of a town if possible.
@michaelelliott I'll do my best. I work part time in a small city but because of coming home early to go to the artists reception for my first time having photos in a juried show, I may not be able to do it this week. If not I'll shoot in the little town I live in
@jgpittenger - Ok if this was not possible my other challenge was to take a shot featuring machinery in an artist way of course. Perhaps that will be more realistic.
@evev Sure. Did you see my original photo? It was a couple of days before. Then i processed it using Siver Efex Pro. I am just learning that program. I used a high key preset and then added a vignette. Hope that helps
Equally as beautiful as the previous one, just different. Don't know anything about the processing side. This has that magical, silvery feel associated with Christmas, it could be a card!
Lovely - this has an enchanted forest feel to it! I've been resisting buying the Silver Efex Pro for ages... so tempting! I think it's a case of keep experimenting and you'll soon get a feel for what works well for you.
