In My Office or Late Halloween Goblin

@julieco's push challenge or me this week continues to haunt me. One big thing I learned is a good portrait like shot needs good light and fast shutter speed. I fiddled with some weird effects in snapseed to try to do something with a bad portrait. I suspect I just made it worse! If you look REALLY carefully, you can see I do care deeply for my clients and see daily how incredibly resilient we are as humans.

Interesting textures.

I looked but I didn't see or understand!!!! Sometimes the effort of trying is worth more than the product!

@ruthmouch Thanks Ruth. I agree re the effort and I learned a lot. My face is oddly blotchy in the light and soft in places it isn't...at least in the mirror!

You look like an Old Master! (As in the painterly effect - not a comment on your age!!!)

@judithg I am an old...not sure re the master painterly or professionally speaking

Interesting effects. I'd be curious to see it before edit. Either way, I do sense the thoughtfulness about you from the image.

Hi Jane, not ignoring you at all, just been away for the past couple of days. Glad that you were pushed by the challenge but hope it did not gve you too many nightmares. In my opinion the journey is as important as the destination and I think that your interpretation of the portrait shows thoughtfulness and learning. It reminds me in the colourway of a Rembrandt!

Yes, I see empathy as mentioned by a previous commenter. And attentive listener.
