Jim planted a bunch of these native douglasia, tended them, divided the growing supply of bulbs, and now they are filling one of the slopes by our house. Amazing what some love and tending will do for living things. How did I get so lucky with the father of my children? Happy Father's Day to Jim and all the fathers out there.
