This time of year when sunset finally happens early enough for this old lady to stay up for it, we often have a thick marine layer that destroys the sunset. It looked as if we might have a beautiful one, so I gathered my gear. Just as the sun set, some fog rolled in but I still think it was pretty.

WOW, this is simply gorgeous!!! I love the colors and to be able to see for soooooooo far!! I love fog and think it just adds mystery to the photo! Beautiful colors and love the fact you can't really tell where the water ends and the sky begins!! FAV, FAV, FAV!

20:30 - yes, that is quite late for a sunset...way later than at my home even in the height of summer. This is a beautiful spot and great composition, Jane. There is so much detail to take in. The clouds and dunes helps to sweep the eye across from right to left. Great stuff!
