A friend and I went out to shoot the stars last night when we finally had a night with clear skies. I love how the milky way seems almost to provide and celestial roof for the trees. Sadly my friend discovered her camera can't adjust exposure sufficiently to capture the night sky. I think I would be heart broken if it were me since I love to shoot star studded skies.

This is stunning, Jane - the silhouette of the blowing trees is perfect with that sky - Would love to try something like this sometime. Checked your exit info to get some idea where to start. Fav
Ooh Jane well done, such a beautiful shot and I like the silhouetted trees to ground the image. I have never tried this, maybe one day I can have a go at it.
