I had my fill of rainy and windy weather so I drove up to the aquarium in Newport yesterday. Our camera club's next competition is "all inside" so I thought this might be a possibility for my entry.
Thanks so much for your visits, comments, suggestions, favs. I would particularly appreciate suggestions on this one since I'd like to improve it if possible
The shapes and delicate textures of the jellyfish are lovely. I think the only change I might make would be to tone down the bright areas in the background if possible, as I do find them a bit distracting.
These are pretty magical looking. For a competition, though, I wonder if you have one where there's more of a clear focal point. I found my eye jumping among the items, loving all of them, but not necessarily determining what was the 'it' of the scene. That one in the lower right is incredible and I wonder if some cropping to make that the focus would be worth it.
