I thought this fish was so cute swimming with his mouth open. I guess he probably was trawling for food but it looked as if he was talking away.
Thanks so much for yuor kind words about my kitty, Zumbalom. He hasn't shown up and I'm pretty sure he won't given how clear it was that coyotes had been close to the house. At least he came back in my dream last night, though I cried when I woke to realize it had only been a dream.
Great shot of an ugly fish. Reminds me of European carp, the introduced scourge of our waterways. So sad about your cat, losing a member of the family's always a wrench.
