Sunset At the Homeless Shelter

I'm behind on commenting again. So sorry. Yesterday disappeared in a cloud of frenetic activity.
To me there is something so poignant about this homeless person's tent and pad in the arms of the dunes. Of course the poor man has endured the almost constant rains that have been here for months. May he have more sunsets to grace his days.
Thanks for the visits, comments, suggestions, favs

That is so sad - sometimes we need reminding how lucky we are ...

This photo certainly makes one stop and ponder. Perhaps he understand sunrises and sunsets in ways we cannot imagine. I pray the tent keeps him dry during the days and nights of rain.

The sunset is stunning, Jane, and then I read the very sad narrative. What a powerful image this is to convey the small tent amongst the huge and lonely dunes.

Very thought-provoking, makes you sit back and think about how fortunate you are.

I've just realised what you meant by your caption on the b&w version of this. Yes, very alone and bleak. Very sad that his life is just a tent.

Very sad shot, tells us how lonesome it must be, against the beauty of the sunset.
