Best on black. I decided to check and see if the hummers were beginning to build nests while the sun was out for a couple of days. There weren't very many yet and a red winged blackbird kept scaring them but I managed to get a few shots. They will probably be done before I get back from my upcoming trip so I was glad to have a chance.

@jgpittenger Oh I can see now Jane, it looks like a bullrush perhaps? Just looked at it without reading the words too closely but can see it's a plant. I did think it was a weird shape ha ha!
