Best by far on black. I am way behind because we left yesterday morning and stayed overnight at the volcano and just now returned home to our Hawaii rental home. It rained and rained and misted and fogged. I SO wanted to shoot the volcano in the stars and there should have been the Milky Way visible in weather that permitted seeing it. We set the alarm for 2 AM doubting there was a chance in the world that we would see any stars and dragged ourselves out to the car in heavy mist. Thankfully we had scoped out some potential spots while it was still daylight. I think the stars, at most, were visible for 10 minutes and we couldn't see the Milky Way but I'm pretty happy with this shot. Last time I shot at this spot I blew out the highlights. I guess I've learned something in the past couple of years.
