Before yet another trip to Eugene to deal with my leg, Jim and Black Pearl and I took a walk in the Waite ranch beside the river. Salmon are slowly moving upstream waiting for the first heavy rains to help them navigate for spawning. This time of year, there are lots of fishing boats on the river often roaring up river leaving a big wake. This was a quiet moment where egret and kayaker could do their fishing.
