Best on black. For those who have followed me for a while, you know I love to go down to Coos Bay when there is a high surf advisory. There was yesterday and I shot from sunset through twilight. I particularly liked the long exposure surf explosion.

Lovely shot. REally captures the power of the surf. I am not always a fan of long exposure water shots, because I feel that it is often overdone and comes out looking artificial and gimmicky. But that is definitely NOT the case with your photo, where the technique serves the subject perfectly. Well done. Fav
