Best on black. Sometimes the beauty of our home at this time of year takes my breath away. How did I ever get so lucky? Under this rhododendron arch is the path that leads past exeter azaleas, multiple yellow native iris, a waterfall of 5 different colors of azaleas, Japanese maples, snow ball bushes, some remaining trillium, grape hyacinths, camas lilies...and over head a huge wisteria above the entry to our front door. All these in bloom right now! And I know I've missed some of them. This shot only hints at it.

Your description of your garden creates a lovely image in my mind. You must have spent many happy hours gardening to end up with such a wonderful yard. And obviously the birds appreciate your efforts.
