Another one from my archives. In Spring when there are baby lambs, the eagles come in to eat tje placentas. A friend and I went to try to find some eagles to photograph and found a pair with their juvenile right close to the road. What a thrilling opportunity. A couple of other shots from that day have appeared in my albums before but this is a new one. you can see a samll piece of the umbilical cord under the juvenile's foot.
