We Had Rain At Last

With the closest fire merely 10 miles away and no rain since last April, what a relief! We only had 5/8" but the air is fresher and the moisture palpable. Remind me next winter not to complain about days and weeks straight of rain.

An Oregon friend recently told me about an app called "Watch Duty" which is a way to track wildfires, pretty much in real time. I didn't realize how dry it's been there!
