Or so they say! All the locals were excited to see it and I looked for a rainbow but no such luck. This is the view from outside the motel where we were staying. We had chosen not to tent there before we got there thinking it would be too hot! LOL

Nice job showing the wild weather that can get you in Death Valley. I was in a sandstorm at Stovepipe Wells a couple of years ago. The wind was so strong it sucked all the tissues out of a box of Kleenex.
