What a treat! First I was sitting down to have coffee with Jim and looked out the window and saw a complete rainbow. I rushed out with my camera and shot from our driveway, the bench on my way out of the driveway, and then at a nearby ocean view spot. Unfortunately in my hurry I didn't take as wide angled a lens as I needed but I got some shots I liked anyway.
And THEN as they were downloading onto my computer I saw that my osprey holding his talons was #2 on the TT! Wahoo! THANK YOU THANK YOU. I am humbled and smiling ear to ear.
did you try merge in Panorama with a few of the shots selected? as long as the focal length is the same and you are standing in the same spot the shots will merge into a .dng...... instant 'wide(er)' angle lens!! I generally use cylindrical & boundary warp setting of 50-85 https://helpx.adobe.com/lightroom/help/panorama.html
@ltodd what a great idea. Unfortunately they are all taken in different spots and I didn't think of a pano...I was worrying about my camera getting wet since it isn't weather sealed. By the way, I've been playing with signatures and may have just created one I like
@jgpittenger :) once you turn professional you'll need it! :))
Do practice the LR pano - I now don't worry so much about being caught while travelling with just the one lens.
I had exactly the same problem a couple of months ago, but I did manage to get several shots (hand held), and stitched them together in Lightroom. It took a couple of attempts, but I got there. https://365project.org/deborah63/365/2017-03-11
