I went out for the moon rise and, since the night before the full moon the moon rises and the sun sets at roughly the same time, I was blessed with both! to North and South there were gorgeous cloud patterns while to the East there were clear skies for the moon rise. And to the West, the sun was setting into the ocean without any interesting clouds but blocked from my view by high dunes. I just kept moving the position of my camera from North to East to South. Glorious evening.
