Sea Gulls, Girls, and Surf

I think I prefer the black and white. What do you think? (B and W in my main album) On our trip yesterday, one of the places we went was one of my favorite spots on the Oregon Coast. Usually I go there to shoot sunsets and stars but yesterday we went to get out from under rain and overcast skies. In Bandon the clouds had more definition and it wasn't raining but no sunset! I loved the two seagulls perched on the foreground rock and the intrepid girls running in the waves even though it was 48 degrees F out!

They are both beautifully focused and composed - as you always do! The b&w seems a bit more dramatic and defined but I think I like this one better. It seems to have a hazy feel which I associate with the seaside and the playing children seem more natural. :)
