Bald Eagle Fly Over B and W

We briefly saw the bald eagle on the hike yesterday at quite a distance. Not the best of shots but a treat to get to try. I'm not sure if I like color or B and W better so I'm posting both.
So glad the photo of Pearl and Abby yesterday made you smile as it did me. I never had a dog before who had a best friend and it is such a treat! Thanks for your visits, comments, suggestions, favs

I think that the b&w captures the feel of place better in this case Jane. It's almost painterly albeit in monochrome.

This is a hard choice, both are wonderful compositions. I think in the b&w it's a bit more subtle that there is a bit of lightening (I think) around the eagle. In the color, it's almost like a halo. What a treat to see the eagle, even at a distance.
