Yellow Crowned Warbler by jgpittenger

Yellow Crowned Warbler

I drove down to Winchester Bay to buy some canned tuna and brought my camera along hoping for some shore birds. It was windy in Winchester Bay, but I stopped in the backwater outside of Gardiner and had better luck. I found this teeny little bird in the brush. It was as small as a little winter wren. I had to look it up in my bird book and the best I could figure out is that it is a yellow crowned warbler. If someone who is a better birder than me could let me know what you think. It does have white around its eye and a black line through it.
Thanks so much for taking both of yesterday's shots both to the TP and PP. Made my day. And thanks for your visits, comments, suggestions, favs
