Bulldog issued a challenge of an old picture and a new one. I think he means taking from archives on the internet and adding a new one you take, but I have this picture of my sister on the steps of the family home and then the picture I took yesterday of the kids coming out for the Easter egg hunt. I didn't have permission to post the kids and wouldn't on this open site but my sister posts here all the time and Alex and my niece are big posters on fact book. The old picture isn't in great shape so I added poster edges but I love this one so don't be hard on me.

Well I think you did a great job with this Joan - it feels not quite spooky, but there are certainly ethereal undertones. Must bring back heaps of memories and blend them with the present.
@vignouse On one hand I love having my niece in our family home next door. And then their are times when she makes changes and they some to cover over my memories and I hate it. Does that make sense?
@kwind@bulldog is responsible for the concept and I can't thank him enough. I have a few more I want to try. I actually love to stage pictures of people today in spots I have pictures of my parents.
