Who Knew

Never knew they had single serve champagne. I am celebrating 634 days from bam to end of chapter with my knee. Now just onward.
I think they have single serve everything hahaha - glad it is all over for you

@annied Thank you - I guess I need to get out more. Flagstaff is most definitely quality and variety liquor challenged.

@joysabin hahahahaha - well good you could get champagne to celebrate

And Champagne is always a good idea

What's important is that where they single serve they're usually happy to serve twice! Nice photo to celebrate.

I like your choice of B/W; I think it makes the image more powerful.

Love the tones and bokeh!

@susale Thank you, and I agree about Champagne. Bubbly anytime!

@domenicododaro Thank you, double shots, great idea.

@evalieutionspics Thank you very much, the color shot was kinda oh hum.

@cscarr97 Thank you a lot, I really wanted to get the first pour into my glass but didn't think about grabbing the camera until after the fizz was gone.

@megpicatilly Thank you, the new chapter with my knee is just that forward and onward. Planning to walk the rim trail at the Grand Canyon again soon.

@cjphoto Thank you, I wanted to mark the moment when I chose to turn the page with the knee issues and bubbly seemed just the thing.

@ziggy77 Thank you so much, the bubbles and fizz of champagne are almost as much fun to capture as drink. More practice is needed. :):)

@pasttheirprime Thank you, my 50mm lens has the right aperture so I didn't need a flash since I was shooting off a mirror and didn't want any huge flare.

@jerome I am most grateful for the fav, the champagne has potential for future shot ideas. I can always rationalize more bubbly.

@365projectorgjenfurj Thank you very much, and bottoms up to you too.

I look forward to your future champagne-shots! I really love this photo - so nice in detail, pov, dof and bokeh! And it works very well in b&w.

@jerome Maybe I will go out of town and get many more varieties and choices to work with. Road trip. Oh, the trials of being a photog.

A single-serving of any alcoholic drink - let alone champagne - sounds like a nightmare scenario to me.

Chink, chink, cheers. Glad this chapter of your life is done and dusted, onwards and upwards.
November 19th, 2016
@vignouse It is but I couldn't justify a whole big bottle. A cheap one, that's me.

@stephanies Yes I agree. New chapters are fun to tackle.

Cool shot. Congrats on getting through such a difficult time, also:)

@sketch2 Thank you, I am truly appreciative of your fav. Still walking and counting. If the snow isn't too bad, I'm off to the south rim of the canyon this week.
