I went north to the desert to work on my moon shots. Lots of learning to do with the Moon. This is taken at the northern end of the Sunset Crater National Monument.

@rosiekind I agree, this is the rainy season here (called Monsoons by the locals) and I never know if I will get rain and thunder or luck out on a full moon.
@domenicododaro You are so very kind. The sun was being much more cooperative that the moon but it is probably that I need to get a better lens for what I want to capture.
@pdulis The ruins that are scattered around the monument really are just so very wonderful. The sun was also being very helpful too.
@blueberry1222 It is in the Sunset Crater Monument where Wupatki is. I was unsure if I was going to see a ranger drive up and shoo me off. Next time I will try the Lomatki set of ruins since now that I know I can get some shots after the area technically closes.
@stephanies Thank you ever so much for the fav. I worry that I might harm my sensor but I guess with the short duration of exposure I should be okay.
@ukandie1 Thank you, I am rather amazed too. I also was worried about the sensor damage.
@mbrutus I can't take any credit for the wall, it is part of the Wupatki ruins at the Sunset Crater Monument north of Flag. I love going up there because it is often where I can get my moment of Zen, pure utter silence. I now know that they don't lock the gates on the north entrance and I will be back to get more golden hour shots.

@stefneyhart Thank you so kindly, truly appreciate the fav. I was trying to find some structures to add some interest to the full moon and this ruin was just great. Next month I'll hope to get a full moon shot in the same area.
