Flash of Red No 6 by joysabin

Flash of Red No 6

Patterns and textures for flash of red. The past few days I have been a tad under the weather with a cold so I've relied on a couple of recents for posts. Today am feeling better but, with new snow (about 6 inches) and a wind of 15mph, I'm playing the 'stay inside card'. This was taken last weekend when we were gifted with rain mixed with snow showers and intermittent sun.

Appreciate your patience with lack of comments- going to catch up today-hopefully.
Super macro of the water droplets.

Hope you feel better. As another person in winter climes, I say wake me up in April. We're all doing a lot of the "stay inside card" this year.

@henrir Thank you so much, I forgot to add that this was shot with my lensbaby sol45.

@dfarrington Most excellent idea, April or May-even better. The outside in winter does have its appeal but when wind chill is involved, all bets are off :):)

Excellent capture! They look like eyes looking at us!

This is so cool.

Great capture of the droplets. They really glow in this b&w.

Great that you are feeling better, I think we all are losging for the sun.

Looks even better on black. Reminds me of an invisible owl...well invisible except for his eyes!

Wonderful macro

The water droplets look like eyes.

Hope you feel better soon.

Oh yes. Babs, @onewing, you beat me to it. They look just like eyes, rather spooky.

Lovely droplets - feel better soon

@lsquared Truly grateful for the fav. Thank you kindly.
@rhernan I see that now, when I was taking the shot I was more worried about the mud I was trapping through. Gotta remember my priorities.
@yaorenliu Thank you so much.
@jernst1779 The sun was playing hide and seek that day. Got lucky.
@tstb13 I so want a sunroom, but I will settle for a sunny spot to sit in now and then, as long as its inside.:):)
@gardencat Maybe the 'Cheshire Owl' ?
@samae Thank you, I am still learning how to use this lens but so far so good.
@onewing Feeling much better, Rain is a rare treat this time of year. I did enjoy (sorta) tramping in the mud.
@golftragic The droplet eyes of a 'Cheshire Owl'? A very shy creature, native to the high desert of Arizona. Okay, too much wine....
@ziggy77 Thank you so much, feeling better- I might try some extension tubes with this lens and see what I can do.

@joysabin The Cheshire owl for sure but, instead of his grin, his eyes are the last thing to disappear. LOL

@joysabin You may have misunderstood. Perhaps not. I don't know. I love the shot. It's mysterious and cool.

@rhernan I am very grateful that you liked this, thank you so much, the drops just caught my eye while the sun was trying to assert itself in between rain showers.
