Didn't intend to go color but forgot to change the settings from yesterday. This was an on-the-fly shot while walking so I couldn't take any extra time to change to B&W. I noticed the rock with some rain from yesterday left on top and told my husband that I would catch up with him on the trail in a few. He also saw the water and realized that we hadn't given our Riley any water on the trial yet so he jumped up on the rock to show her the water and then she went to town on the puddle.
My crazy dog likes her water from outside. She will only drink from the bowl we have outside on the back step, mind you we fill it with inside water so, go figure? Today, she actually had outside official water not that she was overly impressed.
I will also tag this for Dogwood week 39, water and earth for what is a rock but earth.
Funny story about the water sources but I've seen humans with similar attitudes- such as my son who did not like baked potatoes whatsoever!! But he had no problem eating French Fries whose insides are a baked as any baked potato- go figure! Good shot.
