PMAE No 25. I walk a lot. 741 miles last year (Sept thru Aug). I walk because I love it and now need it for my soul. This changes that I've seen over the past two years are vast but the speed at which we are seeing change in this town is frightening.
I didn't stay true to the Nifty Fifty SOOC challenge for today but did stay true to my PMAE (pushing my artistic envelope) guidelines-self imposed. I had to adjust the size of today's 50mm shot to fit into the post and I added a small amount of text but enjoyed composing with 50mm constraints.
I can relate to your pain. The sledding hills where I spent so many winter afternoons became a subdivision while I was in college. To think that all of those families will never know such amazing, fun times in a neighborhood environment is sad. Both are lovely representations of the area.

@joemuli Change is the only true constant. I love walking - not so fast now but I'm not stopping.
@yrhenwr Being at 7000 ft has its limits. I think that the limit is really water or lack of.
