There is something lovely about a well-lined, strong looking hand. My mind immediately thinks of all of the life stories represented by the lines and scars and muscles. So, accident or not, it has a story which is the point of a photo.

I like it, it's unusual. You don't see hand poses like this and it is kind of curious as it gives your hand so much depth. Oh I just read it was accidental, well that was lucky, it made for a great shot!
