I set off to meet Sarah for a walk at 4.30 pm yesterday, took one look at the extremely threatening sky and went back for an umbrella. Luckily the rain clouds were moving at a pretty brisk clip so we didn’t get rained on for long. I wanted to take some night shots and we nearly misjudged it because the days are lengthening despite the wintery weather. This morning the rain was lashing down but, undeterred, Nigel relaid a garden path and shovelled some of the gravel delivery into place. I FaceTimed dad and eventually put some clothes on. Snow tomorrow so fingers crossed for some new Christmas card fodder. Shame we can’t get into any college grounds as that would greatly increase the chances of something novel!
Weather: wet
Covid: ignoring it today
Good thing: some of Adam’s adverts appearing around the place & Rachel’s getting organised for moving into a new apartment with her girlfriend. Life goes on.
We just said yesterday how the days are lengthening.....perfect light here for your night shot. Lovely light reflection & of course the bike which is a sort of signature piece for you...well I guessed it was you as soon as it scrolled up!
Great job on getting all the different lighting - on the pavers, the cyclist’s face, and bike light, the streetlamps, the building bricks, and that gorgeous color sky!
White up this way but 20 miles away in Aberdeen just lots of rain.
