Just dropping by because that pile of boxes has been transformed in 4 days by Robert the marvellous fitter. Nigel is installing the fairy lights for me - between us we can run to that level of skill! Robert even made a mistake with the handles on the right hand drawers which means he needs to come back and replace them - very good because then he can make us an extra hole in the desk that we hadn’t realised we needed! It needs a video to get it all in really - complete with slot for the ironing board - it’s a multifunctional room! Temporary rug in there at the moment and the lighting needs sorting but we are very pleased with it.
Oh Judith I want your cupboards….send Robert up here quick sharp! Our clothes are still on temporary rails & no sign of the joiner! Looking good but is it a Christmas room with the lights or are you just decorating early? You will all be fighting over that room.
@happypat we will probably get some rechargeable strip lights under the shelves but in the meantime we’ve gone with the fairy lights on a battery pack!
@bkp no he doesn’t but I did manage to replace a completely inadequate light source with another one! Robert took the shade off so he could see. I’m going to need some extra lights.
