Hand painting the name plates for college rooms isn’t as universal as it once was but this list on the street near the market is always hand painted. Come September the sign writers will be busy around the town preparing for new students to arrive. Whoever painted this one must have panicked at the sight of Yongphiphatwong, N and rather crushed up the letters! Cambridge University is periodically accused of a lack of diversity in the press - it’s rather unfair as students come from all over the world although they are short of northerners with a lot of students from London.
Weather: unpromising start leading to a beautiful day
Covid: tracking up again - abandoning isolation, even for people living with someone with Covid, will inevitably lead to more cases.
Good thing: coffee out with the girls instead of painting (more painting this afternoon 🙄)
