..But the country says, 'No'

I took this yesterday when polling was still open for our referendum on changing the voting system from First Past the Post to AV (where you can rank candidates). The 'Yes' campaign certainly won on innovative advertising in Cambridge but 70% of the country voted, 'No'.

I read about this alternative voting proposal but I have to admit it went a bit over my head. But I definitely agree that your current system has flaws.

I love this shot - and the tiltshift effect is great. I was so surprised this morning to find out there was such a big No vote - I thought it would (and should!) be a Yes...but then I'm from Cambridge, so I guess that proves the point!
