Under the bridge by judithg

Under the bridge

I took this yesterday when the sun was out. I've obviously processed it a bit already but I'm really posting it because I intend to try again later in the summer when I have sorted out how to HDR- it. So this is the 'Before' shot - now I have committed myself to learning how to do the 'After' shot.....
Lovely perspective from under the bridge Judith!

Ohhh the people sat on the bank make this a super shot... adding a human interest to a shot *doubles* your points ! LOL
Seriously though, HDR... wow that is some comittment. I sooo need to learn how - I believe there is a discussion topic on here about HDR and photoshop recently.

Lovely angle for this shot, the rushing water & the cyclists on the grass chatting ! Not sure what the green things are ?

@happypat They are to stop punters disappearing over the weir and also make great sun-loungers for seagulls!! HDR is 'High Dynamic Range' - I THINK you take serval shots at diffrence exposures and then merge them together....

I already like it like this very much. Wonderful framing. I'm still at a loss to understand HDR but maybe I'll try it some day...

Ha Ha Judith, there are lots of possibilities for an 'after shot'....

selective colouring / colour popping
B/W
High key
Maybe a tripod and slow shutter speed so you get a smooth creamy waterfall

Look forward to seeing the next one (or even two) :)

I think that is gorgeous, all in focus and naturally framed, lots going on and yet peaceful at the same time. Great stuff!
