My friend Jeremy has produced a stunning garden from scratch over the last seven years. It looks so mature that it's hard to believe it started as just a lawned area. This is just one corner - I don't know what I was doing this morning as most of my shots have a stray bit of grass in focus and not what I was aiming for. I manually focussed this one but some time soon I will invite myself round and try to do the rest of the garden justice.
It's going to be open for the National Garden Scheme which we are very impressed about as you have to be selected..
I completely understand why they were selected - this garden looks amazing! I think this beautiful shot does the garden justice, but then again I haven't seen it ;).
Very nice garden! Impressive indeed...to get selected for the open garden scheme is very difficult! Congrats to them. I like this shot...how you've cropped it.
Impressive garden and I really like the water movement created by the fishing bird! Congrats on being selected for the open garden scheme! What an honor!
Lovely corner of the garden, it looks very natural ! I am impressed you did this photo manually Judith..it looks very well & lovely composition too! The white bench just takes the eye to the back !
Judiith , Jeremy's garden looks fabulous....I look forward to your photoshoots from there.....I think I ought to get one of those herons too....better by far than my heron !!........ http://365project.org/phil_howcroft/365/2011-06-01
