The chauffeur punts are starting to dwindle at this stage in the season but the touts were still bringing a steady stream of tourists down to the river at Trinity. Many of the punters here are individuals and tend to cause annoyance both on the river by causing an obstruction and being a bit bolshy, and on the roads by badgering people to take tours. They haven't been re-issued licenses for next year much to the delight of many but it has to be said that they make quite a display in the summer, lying around with their shirts off flexing their muscles. Needless to say I have some photos - maybe when the days turn really grey I'll fish a few out! PS Not this one - most are considerably younger!!
How I would love to come & take photos in Cambridge , this is a great capture & a fabulous place to read the papers !! The river looks very gentle there !! Glad to hear the rogue punters have been booted out although looking forward to dark days when you bring your other photos out !!!!!
i thought it was a model man or a tilt shifted edit..
