Winter Sky

We had our first hard frost this morning and under the early morning sun I imagine that the lodes by Anglesey Abbey were stunning. Unfortunately I didn't get there until lunchtime when the were thin clouds just letting the sun seep through. It occurred to me that at this time of year the sun starts setting almost as soon as it's risen.

Yes I was very surprised to see the sun was setting at about 4 ish the other day..........I try to live in the moment BUT I can't wait for those long, light nights back again.....I am thankful for the glorious weather though.......I love this shot very simple...but very eye catching....Did you have to get down lown for the shot!.
