This hen party must have been amazed by their luck with the weather. This was the most tasteful of three lots of 'get up' I encountered today and a lot more tasteful than most!
On a sadder note I've had to bury Hedgy the hedgehog. I don't know why he died but he seemed to have an injured front foot (I didn't look too closely as this is day 3 - I wanted to be sure that he wasn't sleeping deeply!). I'm sure in hedgehog heaven he doesn't have a spaniel barking at him....
Hedgehogs have been dying for strange reasons in our gardens..I wonder if there is some strange disease around like Myxomatosis in rabbits? Poor thing.
This looks a very classy hen party beats the ones at Blackpool hands down!!! No learner plates there.. although are there any learners left!!!!!
Well done to your intrepid Karate competitors too , they did so well in the competition...who needs the Olympics?
@happypat LOL - you do have to laugh when you see some of the L-plate wearers! Thanks on the karate front - it's great news - they are going to be embarrassed coming through the airport in GB tracksuits... Poor Hedgy - he looked a bit scruffy when he was alive but he didn't seem to be ill or I would have taken him off to rescue - makes you wonder about viruses.
@happypat Well karate is a Martial Art and not a sport so it won't ever be in the Olympics. Judo and Tae Kwon Do are sports so they do feature. Tae Kwon Do is the nearest thing - she carefully chose a University with a Tang Soo Do karate club within reach but if she doesn't get in there she may have to train in Tae Kwon Do to keep fit and strong. They are off to watch our very good TKD team in the Olympics as it's the nearest they can get!
Extremely thoughtful 'get up' by the girls - actually looks very nice! Wonder what is in the bags, could be tiny little sandwiches to complete the look?!

Now that is quite a hen party! Great capture. Sorry re teh hedgehog but I bet it is a blessed relief to have the barking quieted. Love thos matching hats

I think these ladies look wonderful. I've never been to a hen party, thank goodness, but if I did I wouldn't mind it looking like this! Also, I like the angle you took this at - seems to add to the festivities :)
