But maybe I'm not yours....

It's a double edged sword being next to one of these pianos. This girl was having a whale of a time playing and singing and making an almighty racket on both counts. Outside the Senate House - with King's College Chapel - that bastion of beautiful music - wincing behind on the left!
Three good things:
1. Lots of pianos to photograph (I took another one as well - girl meets boy, meets piano, exchange details :0) )
2. Dog is nicely groomed
3. Off to book club where the text is...my 365 Project...aaargghhh!!!
ooooh can we skype into the book club?

@fueast Hmmm - let me think....no.
October 25th, 2012
@judithg Oh shame. Are you going to be discussing your pictures or the commentary? Perhaps spelling should be a topic ;-O
October 25th, 2012
@judithg Or the characters within the plot? I'm fascinated....
October 25th, 2012
Nice use of colour....and just love how even here you can squeeze in a bicycle shot!
October 25th, 2012
Ha to your book club!
Note to readers: She's fab.
Lovin seeing all these people's pianos.
October 25th, 2012
@fueast I don't know - I'm just impressed that any of them have looked - just think - all those extra people tutting over your spelling!
October 25th, 2012
@judithg I know! And I still don't care....
October 25th, 2012
@sleepdozer57 Aww - I'm taking one of your pics (frosty horse) as one of my favs. Don't tell @fueast - I searched for the right icy sheep and couldn't find it - maybe I'll take the iPad and try again!
October 25th, 2012
lol! She looks so enthusiastic! great capture!
October 25th, 2012
What a great blog - just read the commentary. So what's this 365 book club project thing then? Lovin' these pianos - I'll be on the lookout on Tuesday - when I get this plaster off! Made a cake today though - can't be bad!
October 25th, 2012
Love the symmetry in the shot, and the turquoise and blue piece of colour.
October 25th, 2012
@fueast Not the one I was thinking of but it's bonny so I'll take it!
October 25th, 2012
@busylady Good stuff! It's my normal book club but we always do fiction and non-fiction - and non=fiction is me this time!
October 25th, 2012
Going to the Fitzwilliam tomorrow, Japanese woodcuts, will look out for the pianos but won't be playing!
October 25th, 2012
I think this is the piano they showed on the news - great shot Judith
October 25th, 2012
Off went the van with my home packed innit :D
October 25th, 2012
Awesome - I love this piano project :) have fun at your book club ;)
October 25th, 2012
Lovely shot, with the conservative grey building, and the flambouyant colourful piano with the girl having just bicycled there to play! A book cover and title !
October 25th, 2012
What a great idea having music in the streets
October 25th, 2012
Love the shot, the sc and the bike.....Hope the book club enjoys 365!!!!
October 25th, 2012
Fantastic capture.
October 25th, 2012
Nice use of selective colour. Love the bike. ;)
October 25th, 2012
Love the bit of colour. Wish I could hear her too!
October 25th, 2012
great selective colour and great candid scene
October 25th, 2012
What if it rains? The piano will get all wetland go rusty! This sort of music is one where your only choice not to listen is to walk well away!
October 25th, 2012
You are famous Judith ...a whole book club discussion on your work , how scary is that? I do hope it goes really well & you get lots more recruits!! As for the lovely pianos it just shows music is what you make it & I can just see those hallowed walls putting their fingers in their ears!!! Even the bicycle there too!
October 25th, 2012
I like the splash of colour the piano and the couple are providing against the B&W of the rest of the shot xx
October 25th, 2012
Love the SC. I'd love to be at the book club. Let us know about it manyana. By the way I loved reading the "Shoemakers Wife"
October 25th, 2012
Really like the SC here - one more thing I've never tried. Great comp, too. Did you take pic of the poochie after his day at the spa?
October 25th, 2012
loving your street pianos series judith...i'd love a tinkle too...not that I can play or read music...but i'd sure love a try :)
October 25th, 2012
Excellent !
October 26th, 2012
I remember kids at scouts meetings discovering the pianos...oh my ears. Love the concept of the pianos, but pity those who have to listen to it if they don't want to!
October 26th, 2012
Great use of selective color! I guarantee if I were playing and singing you could sell ear plugs and make a few bucks!
October 26th, 2012
Love this Judith!
October 26th, 2012
Like the x-factor auditions live in the streets?! OUCH! =)
October 26th, 2012
The pianos are decorated beautifully, they'll probably go out of tune quickly and the wood won't last long in this weather! Maybe the people playing the piano can have that excuse for they're earbashing music!
October 26th, 2012
Nice selective color - love music being made in front of hallowed halls, whatever the kind! Bike makes this signature Judith! :-)
October 26th, 2012
Nice pic. Lol on the musicianship. The guy who lives below me has taken to singing (if it can be called that) his lungs out so I sympathise!
October 26th, 2012
Love the colour splash in this. Your signature tune would surely be something to do with a bike. As soon as a see a bike shot, I just always think of you!
October 26th, 2012
Nice...i once saw a man busking with a grand piano in New York something you never forget....hope all is well with you and finding time for a weee glass of Chardonnay
October 26th, 2012
@tsingtao I'm afraid I've resorted to G&T...
October 26th, 2012
Nice use of selective colour (you know I'm a sucker for that ;)).
