Friends

Having been to the Hollywood swan feeding - all lights and drama - yesterday I wasn't expecting the local park version to be quite so charming. I'm not sure I'd have been smiling - they have big beaks.

What a great shot and it makes me feel I was right to step back two paces when the cygnet on the water swam over and came for moral support to the cygnet on the bank that I was photographing!

She looks charmed to see them but I would be backing off......she's a bit too near the water for comfort too, they might have chased her in! Does make a good picture though!!

wow that middle one looks rather cheeky judith ...mouth wide open ...anyway the lady seems quite happy with all the attention
