So there is a tributary of the Cam that runs alongside the park in Newnham and it's just to the left of this path. Monty's hooping area was filling up with water from all directions. The geese didn't seem to mind although their nesting areas are totally underwater.
@padlock Much better thanks - starting to look longingly at the gate so he's hoping for a walk which is a good sign - although he won't be getting one for another couple of weeks.
He does look slightly portly....they cab be very intimidating sentry men ....I would give this one a very wide birth. Must strange going out without the man himself!! I bet he gives you a big sniff to see where you have been!
All he needs is a little peaked cap! Glad to hear Monty's on the up - must be very difficult for you too knowing he's thinking about going out but knowing he can't
