I couldn't resist posting a second shot today as I came across this parade of graduands on Garret Hostel Lane. I think they may be Robinson College - founded 1979. Sadly they were led by porters in 'plain clothes' - the older colleges like St John's have porters in top hats for graduation - have these people no sense of style?
Love all the pomp & ceremony on these occasions......they must feel very special . Would think most of them will be very sorry to leave Cambridge.very kind of the lead cyclist to wear red!
What an interesting shot. At first I missed the graduates with their gowns, and mostly saw the men in suits following the bicyclist. Gave me a little paranoid jolt. Fun and intriguing.
