Steve Angell @stevecameras on the roof at King's College. He looks a lot more relaxed than I did up there. He was very patient with me - stair-phobic, slightly whimpering and not very fit. Thanks Steve - always wanted to go up there!
@busylady I don't know if King's members can get a key - I can get one for St John's if you fancy going up sometime. The TV crew have to go up into the roof to rig for sound so we had to be quiet going up as the microphones are in the ceiling. It's really interesting - you can walk on the ceiling underneath the roof itself and then go up a few more steps to get on to the roof. We were not exactly 'needing' to go up there!
Hi Steve! @stevecameras. I wouldn't like to be up there and surprised that you were allowed to go there! Steve looks quite at home - maybe a cat burglar in his spare time?
@rosiekind ha Rosie......you have other designs than the photo ops obviously! A great place to meet another 365er.....I think you should run a course for all us other followers of @stevecameras any place would do.....doesn't need to be a roof! Get in line!! Seriously Steve looks very at home up there ........no hands either!
A great shot and a perfect day to be up there. King's members don't get a key - too much H&S these days to encourage it. Not sure if there's still a trip for new undergrads - probably not.
