My dad has such a green thumb - which I definitely didn't inherit! He got this orchid over a year ago. This orchid bloomed several months ago, and then the blooms faded. The leaves looked healthy, so he continued to water it on the same schedule and give it orchid "food" from time to time. It's blooming again, so beautifully! This is the second time it has come back into bloom under his care. Just in time, too- he and my mom are having a friend over later in the week. She's a garden enthusiast and will be delighted to see it. I just like looking at the different colors of the petals. I like orchids so much! I've seen so many beautiful pictures of amazing orchids on the 365 Project!
September 2015 - I dropped my Nikon L22 at the arboretum (on asphalt!) and it's definitely broken. :(

He is a dab hand those are wonderful blooms. I am usually an ace with plants but orchids defeat me I have two very sad ones I am trying to coax into action. I wish I could send them to your dad for some TLC 😂
