You know that at times I give you some strange pictures, well what a bout this for today. I had a walk just along the road to the chapel to sit on the bench and watch the world go by, and perhaps annoy another poor soul tending their relatives grave.
As I sat down I noticed the weird thing on the arm of the bench and wondered what it was. On examination it was well chewed and a bit crabby, if you understand that term. I put it down quickly when I realised it was a dogs chewy toy and had probably been lost from the countryside path behind me.
When I got home I washed my hands but thought of the poor upset dog that hasn't got it's best friend to play with. (Now you can wipe your eye to remove tears).
How very sweet and well spotted! I'm going to believe that the owner realizes that it is missing, finds it and returns it to the pet. Don't you love a happy ending? :)
Great shot! Although my mind went immediately to the poor dog (or teething child?) who is missing his favorite stuffy. I'm going to go with @linnypinny 's happy ending. Love this.
