The rain continues and in fact I haven't been away from the homes for a few days, so here is one taken a few days ago.
This is the closest parish church to my village and I pass it every time I go out shopping or to the next big town. A quick stop and a lean over the church wall by the roadside gives this pretty scene.
The Lord of the Manor had Selsley's All Saints Church built in 1861 and it has a distinctive 'saddleback' tower, derived from French Gothic architecture. From all around the valleys you can look up to the hillside church which looks as if has come from the Austrian Tyrol.
Makes you want to break into, "The Hills are alive with the Sound of Music". That's got you all singing again. Best viewed with a black background.
