I managed to visit a section of the Stroudwater Canal that I have never been to, surprising as it was just a couple of miles away from home and I have lived in the area for 63 years. Perhaps I'm so old I can't remember.
I was pleased to see this section had been restored, but if horse drawn barges at to navigate this canal again, those two trees will need to be removed. Just think they have grown since the canal was last used in the 1930's.
An update on yesterday's picture, and the plea from the bunny rabbit in the cold garage. Thanks to you and my Facebook friends she is now back in my home and hanging on the glass door between the lounge and the front porch, One thing though, I will be making sure my carrots are save away in the cupboard.
A lovely scene with blue sky reflections. I don't suppose these lovely old canal tow paths will ever be used properly again. Nice to find somewhere you've never been before on your doorstep.
