Don't they know it's Winter. by ladymagpie

Don't they know it's Winter.

When I went to bed last night ,around midnight, yes I'm night Magpie, I noticed that it was snowing. So I wasn't surprised to see a sprinkling of snow on the ground when I got up this morning, although it was more like a dusting of caster sugar on your cakes.

It was to cold for me to go far today and then I noticed that the daffodil bulbs in the front garden tubs were well advanced for this time of year. "Don't they know it's Winter", came to mind, perhaps we should change their name to DAFT-O-DILS.

A great shot. So many things about nature seem mixed up. Fav

Daft-o-Dills. Lol reminded me of your Much-room comment on my project a couple of days ago. Clever lady with camera and words.

Our daffodils are in bud and we had about 1.5" of snow last night. They do seem early don't they? And it's so cold for them and I hope the snow doesn't damage them
