On visiting a local farm shop I crossed the lane to see whether the view was suitable for a picture. I noticed this field entrance was a complex of gates and made no sense at all, although it kept me away from the muddy waterlogged pasture.
I suddenly had a thought about the Farmer and his wife's conversation when he came home in the evening.
Wife: Did you close the top field gate to keep daisy in there Frank.
Farmer: Yes dear all of them.
Wife: What do you mean all of them, there was only one gate.
Farmer. I know dear, but that randy bull from next door would try anything to get at Daisy, so I put 4 gates in his way.
Wife: NO BULL.
Anywhere, that's closed the gate on another stupid story.
And these are only the gates above ground. You should see the gates that have already sunk into that mud! :) Funny arrangement for those gates. I like the way you've presented it.
Oh dear. I think the Bull came face to face with this fence. As W C Fields said "there comes a time in the affairs of man when he must take the bull by the tail and face the situation"
What are those natural fences that they create using branches they entwine with each other? Anyway this reminds me of a modern or metal attemp of that kind of fence.
