It's a capture of a capture of a 365project capture.
You know I've told you the history and story of the phrase "It's cold enough to freeze the balls of a brass monkey". Well today I spotted a brass monkey outside my home looking very concerned about his manhood. What I'm trying to say is IT'S FLIPPING COLD OUTSIDE and I wasn't going to venture out for photography.
For that reason I was looking for a capture indoors today and was playing with my new television. It's so clever it does nearly everything but make the coffee. Fortunately it listen's to me without answering back, and does things I tell it to.
It also has the wifi internet where I can view your lovely photographs in a very large picture. To demonstrate, here is a capture, of one of my captures, captured on 365project. Does that make sense, whether it does or doesn't, I'm sure you wouldn't want me to go outside and emulate a brass monkey. Keep warm Northern Hemisphere. View on the black background.
Great idea for today's shot, looks like you'll have fun with that TV. The cold weather has made me miserable today...... don't blame you for staying at home.
No need to venture out when you get grab such a fun and entertaining capture indoors My walking buddy said her friends in England have snow. Happy to report we missed it again here. Stay warm!
Just for your info: A Brass Monkey was a triangular brass plate on ships decks where the canon balls were stacked in a triangle. In the cold weather the canon balls would expand and fall off the plate. Hence "It's cold enough the freeze the balls off a brass monkey".
I understand perfectly what you were saying, and honestly this is a great clear picture on you TV screen that you were able to capture. Very clever indoor capture when it is too cold to go outside. What a funny narrative too. FAV
Oh my, i had a completely different picture in my head for brass monkey and am so relieved to read your explanation. With a screen that huge I'm guessing I'll need to up my photography skills to keep your follow.
Clever idea. If it stays cold how about joining me in a challenge sent to me by @Weezilou to post a landscape for three consecutive days. They don't have to be taken on the day. You can also invite three others to
