The Storm has Passed

I was driving along a country lane overlooking the valleys waiting for a storm to pass so I could get a landscape capture. This was because of a challenge by http://365project.org/ceilidh to take landscapes on 3 consecutive days, thank you Margaret.

The rain stopped and the sun came out so I managed to get the storm moving off to the left and leaving the blue skies above. The buildings in the valleys were glistening from the rain soaked roofs.

Just out of interest I live just below the hilltop trees on the right, which explains the expression, "The sun only shines on the righteous", well perhaps just for the rest of the day.

How lovely to meet another 365 member because of this challenge! It was tossed to me and I sent it Margaret's way @ceilidh . This area I've heard of all my life, but I don't think I've seen photos...and it's beautiful! Interesting to see it's green and with no snow!
